New Directional Shimano Ultegra XT chain for 11-speed drives. The adapted geometry of the chain links offers excellent switching performance in any living situation. Even mud and dirt offers the sophisticated design little attack surface.
In conjunction with SIL-TEC, Shimano's new surface coating, ultra-low friction is generated. When compared to simple coatings, SIL-TEC is a very special coating process. The use of embedded fluorine particles improves system performance. The coating also reduces wear, noise and friction, dirt-repellent and wear-resistant, which significantly increases the durability of the components treated with SIL-Tec.
